This policy describes what data the Virello AI app collects, why, and what choices you have. Virello AI is an AI-assisted growth and commerce platform: you create content, run growth campaigns, and browse affiliate products in the Shop.
1. Data we collect
Account data: your email address (required to sign in), your name if you provide it, and your language preferences.
Login credentials: depending on the method you choose — a password you set (stored only as a one-way bcrypt hash, never in plain text), or a Google / Apple sign-in (we receive only the verified account identifier from them, never your Google or Apple password).
Your content: posts, campaigns, scripts, captions, templates, and media you create or upload in the app.
App activity: basic events such as app opens and logins, used only to compute aggregate usage statistics (daily/weekly/monthly active users) for the admin dashboard. We do not track your location.
Purchases: subscriptions, credit packs, and plan changes. Payments are processed exclusively by Google Play Billing — we never see or store your card number. We keep a transaction record (product, amount, currency, status, and the Play purchase reference) so we can credit your account and handle refunds.
Shop browsing: products you view or save. Shop products are Amazon affiliate listings; tapping "Buy" opens Amazon, and the product page shows the disclosure "Affiliate link — we may earn a commission."
On-device processing: the Create tools (image editing, video trimming/compression, captions) process your media on your own device. Media you choose to upload is sent to our servers only for the features you use (e.g. publishing a post).
2. Data we do NOT collect
No credit/debit card numbers (handled entirely by Google Play).
No social-media passwords — connected accounts use official OAuth only.
No precise location data.
We never sell your personal data, and we never use fake engagement, bots, or resellers.
3. How we use your data
To run your account: sign-in, security (e.g. login-attempt throttling), and support.
To provide features: content creation, campaign management, Shop, and personalized language settings.
To process Play Billing purchases and credit your account.
To keep the service safe: fraud detection and abuse prevention.
Aggregate, non-identifying analytics to improve the app.
4. Sharing
We share data only with the service providers needed to run Virello AI:
Google Play (payments), Google / Apple (sign-in, only if you use it), Amazon (when you tap an affiliate Buy link — Amazon's own privacy policy then applies), and our hosting infrastructure provider.
We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
5. Data retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except for transaction records we must retain for tax and accounting purposes (kept without directly identifying content where possible).
6. Your rights
You may request a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account and data at any time — see our Data Deletion page or contact us below.
7. Children
Virello AI is intended for users aged 18 and over.
8. Security
Passwords are hashed with bcrypt, API traffic uses HTTPS, and purchase tokens are verified server-side before any credit is granted. No method is 100% secure, but we apply industry-standard safeguards.
9. Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will notify you in the app before the change takes effect.
